Up until 2005, Craig lived his entire life in Houston, Texas. After high school graduation, he attended Harding University where he met his wife, Vicky, and they married in August of 1991. They have two young sons, Stephen and Michael.

After serving many years on a volunteer basis for his church in Houston, West Houston Church of Christ brought him on staff in April of 2000. In 2005, he came to Amarillo to serve the Southwest church. He is primarily responsible for the audio/visual and technology used by the church. This includes database and network administration, office technical support, office equipment, web site, and multimedia such as video production, sound system, and putting together the worship service presentations.
