Brad actually attended the Southwest Church as a child before his family moved to Clarendon, where he graduated from high school. Brad graduated from Texas Tech in 1986, the same year that he and Karen were married. They have been blessed with two wonderful children – Justin and Hali – who have provided them great joy and learning opportunities over the years. Brad and Karen have served in full-time ministry since 1988.

Brad received his Masters Degree in Counseling in 2000 from West Texas A&M and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Along with counseling and ministering to young families at Southwest, Brad and Karen operate The HALI Project which ministers to families who have children with special needs. Their goal is to share the joy and blessing that God has shown them with every family they serve.
